PJ Personnel are working alongside a leading Main Contractor in recruiting for an experienced Civils Site Manager in County Cork. Our client has a large pipeline of work throughout Munster.
Requirements Include:
- Previous Main Contractor experience within Ireland or the UK.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience working on large-scale commercial, retail, or residential projects.
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or diploma/trade equivalent.
- Proven record of seeing projects through from concept to completion.
Job Description:
- Report directly to the Contracts Manager.
- Responsible for the complete day to day operations of the site, including the coordination and supervision of on-site personnel and sub-contractors.
- Responsible for maintaining site records, managing and implementing safety management procedures.
- To attend weekly site meetings as well as reporting on project progress to senior management.
- To monitor project programme and report on project progress to management as well as other duties assigned by Contracts Manager.
- Plan, maintain and control the finical administration of all construction of all construction work to obtain and maintain maximum cost effectiveness.
- Ability to prioritise workload and Time management.
- Implementing onsite health and safety procedures.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
