Who They Support
The Lighthouse Charity provides 24/7 holistic support to all those working in construction, including subcontractors, site operatives, tradespeople, apprentices, and office staff. Whether someone is struggling emotionally, physically, or financially, there’s help available – anytime, anywhere.

1. 24/7 Confidential Helpline, Live Chat and Text Support
Free, anonymous, and available 365 days a year, the helpline and messaging services offer guidance and support on everything from mental health and addiction, to financial struggles and physical illness.
2. Self-Support App
The free Lighthouse Charity App gives users immediate access to helpful resources, signposting, and wellbeing content – all in your pocket, ready when you need it.
3. Lighthouse Beacons
These trained volunteers are embedded in the industry and offer safe spaces to talk – peer-to-peer, with compassion and understanding.
4. Wellbeing Academy
From soft skills to leadership training, the Lighthouse Wellbeing Academy offers a wide range of free courses, tailored to suit every learning style and career stage. It’s about giving construction workers the tools to thrive, not just survive.
